Dinner with a mountain panorama

In September, the Mountain Hub Social Dining and the Mountain Hub Gourmet opened two new gourmet hotspots in Munich right by the airport. One is characterised by the casual urban lifestyle of modern Alpine countries, cosy, casual and approachable.

The other makes the hearts of culinary summiteers beat faster and offers surprising specialities in a class of their own - internationally conceived and regionally made.

Our office was responsible for the execution planning, project management and construction management.

Warm service in modern architecture by Rawle and an interior characterised by materials from the surrounding mountains and lots of regional references invite you to return.

Jagged shapes reminiscent of an abstract mountain panorama are already introduced on the façade. Inside the social dining area, a luminous felt mountain wall as an acoustic wall element refers to the Watzmann. In the buffet area, the motif of the mountain landscape is echoed in the arrangement of the wall tiles. The coffee station invites visitors to discover, try out and linger. In the centre of the social dining area, the Central Service Station with its elegant play of light breaks up the space and offers room for more private seating. At the same time, the central focal point guarantees practical and fast service for guests. A special highlight is the Herbchandelier, an oversized chandelier with integrated herb pots that attracts attention. A wine rack at the entrance prepares visitors for the sophisticated atmosphere in the Mountain Hub Gourmet. Deeper in the room, a customised design with numerous pendant lights traces a mountain silhouette. A living wall of plants and the fragrance system create the perfect Alpine atmosphere. Various fabrics and cushions set colourful accents. The exclusive bar is also located in this area.
