SZ Service Point opens at Ludwig Beck on Munich's Marienplatz

Since March 2024, Süddeutsche Zeitung Servicepunkt has been offering its customers a service point at Ludwig Beck, designed by Gruschwitz - innovative interior design for a modern service and brand experience at Munich's Marienplatz.

This branch, which specialises in service, replaces the former branch in Fürstenfelder Straße. Customers can get personal advice on placing their adverts in an area of just under 40 m². Selected Süddeutsche Zeitung Edition products are also available for purchase.

Gruschwitz GmbH was responsible for the conception, planning, realisation and project management of the Süddeutsche Zeitung Servicepunkt - interior design by Gruschwitz. A built-in screen in the entrance area attracts attention and whets the appetite for more. As a central eye-catcher, a strip wall dipped in the typical SZ mint colour draws visitors deeper into the room. This runs up to the ceiling and, with its inset, illuminated oak cubes, is not only an attractive eye-catcher, but also skilfully conceals the integrated lighting technology. Furthermore, swivelling spotlights and light tracks (XAL "move it") as well as inlay and pendant lights guarantee optimum illumination and a pleasant lighting atmosphere.

A smoothed concrete look combined with the mint green accent colour creates a varied wall design and clearly separates the different areas. In the front section, for example, there is a reception desk, also in mint and bearing the SZ logo, while two consultation desks are skilfully integrated in the rear room. 

Black room dividers that can be rotated 360 degrees not only create a calm, personal atmosphere when required, but are also attractively designed with cover illustrations of the SZ magazine. The materials used include powder-coated metal, painted surfaces, wood and plaster.
